Productive month

Its always funny to me that when I'm busier at work, I'm also busier/ more productive scrapping. Probably because I need the down time more to save my sanity. Here are a couple layouts I completed using the coordinations embossed cardstock. Fun stuff and definitely gives a different look to the pages. I'll definitely be using this more often.

DT reveal day!

Here are the other layouts for my first reveal with Scrapping Turtle. A couple from disney and one with some older photos. I think I will be adding a little journalling to that one eventually, just not sure what yet. Just love how versatile this line is! Great papers for sure.

A couple more layouts

For challenges at the Turtle. The first is a Layout tag and one of the few pictures I have of my father and his two sisters together.

The second was a sketch challenge. I decided to use brackets instead of circles as well as a larger picture. Otherwise, pretty true to form. Made some paper flowers with paper strips and my border punch.
I have some additional ones but will have to wait until after the reveal to share.

Product of the month

As part of my DT duties, I will be showcasing a Product of the Month. This month it is the Kiki Art fun tape. I received the Antologia Famila and was able to use it for some pictures of our Character breakfast. I used the tape as a type of stiching down the side of the pictures and on the letters in the title. Fun stuff!

Scrapping Turtle DT

YEAH!!!!!! I was offered a 9 month contract position with the Scrapping Turtle, as part of their design team. I am super excited by this opportunity and am humbled by the wonderful girls I am on the team with. It will certainly be a fun 9 months.

May is our first month and I received the new Fancy Pants line, My Family. Here is my sneak peek:

Mom gave me some older family photos when she was up in March. I am hoping to tackle some of them through the next few months. Here is the first one. A picture of my paternal grandparents celebrating 50 years of marriage. Something that is just so rare.
