Productive weekend

I participated in an online crop this past weekend and enjoyed some creative time with friends. Thought I would share my work. The first few are from December 2009, from our search for the perfect christmas tree, to Laura's 6th birthday to gymnastics.

I still had a left over picture which I wanted to scrap from last August. Here's what I came up with for it.

It was my week

to post a challenge for my GDT spot at Scrap Shotz. So, my challenge for you is to use a stamp for something which it was not originally intended.

I decided to use this birthday/ cupcake stamp to make a Valentine's day card. Here's my example:

Just realized

that I never posted the girls picture with Santa. So, a little late but better than never, right...

Great weekend!

I participated in an online crop this weekend and got a few new layouts completed. Thought I would share some of them. A few leftover pictures from the fall which I still wanted to get done:
Then I came across these pictures from August. Our trip to Jellystone park and Marcus' 2nd birthday party. Lots of fun memories for sure!

Happy news for the new year!

I was asked to be a 3 month guest card designer for Scrap Shotz from January - March 2010. Great way to start out the new year, don't you think?

Happy new year!

So, with a new decade upon us, it makes me feel like I should be making a few resolutions. I'm really not big on resolutions, I don't believe you should wait until a 'special' day to do things - just do them now. So my resolutions are really to continue doing some things in my life which I began in 2009.

  1. getting healthier
  2. playing with Laura and Jenna and watching them grow everyday
  3. taking lots of pictures/ documenting our lives
  4. enjoying and creating for me
  5. date nights!

Not overly dramatic or surprising, I know.
